They pride themselves on providing accessible, fun and flexible learning opportunities that bring people together. They celebrate and promote the joy and benefits of shared artmaking and learning for people at all stages of life. Mulberry Tree Families especially love the Music With Us and Generations Music With Us sessions. Music With Us is an early years music program for children and their carers aged birth to 5 years, and Generations Music With Us is the same program, held at Chaffey Aged Care in Merbein, promoting relationships between elders and families. Sunraysia Arts and Learning programs can be accessed privately, through NDIS, Mental Health and Aged Care Packages.
Some places we love to visit…
Benetook Farm - Benetook Farm is open to the public and uses a gold coin donation honesty box system for entry fees. The farm has many activities that Mulberry Tree families enjoy, like a small maze, family bike wagons, strawberry picking, jumping pillow, scooter track and a playground. An enterprise initiated by Sunraysia Residential Services Inc (SRS), Benetook Farm is a thriving and developing farm designed to encourage opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy, learn, socialise and while incidental learning occurs during activities including layer hen production; marketing and sales; horticultural and viticultural, woodwork and art; song and dance; cooking and entertaining.
Australian Inland Botanic Gardens - Our favourite place here is the Children’s Garden. You can see it on your left as you drive up the driveway. Park in the Rose Garden carpark and head over the hill, past the toilets. The Children’s Garden is fully fenced and contains lovely spaces for free play along with some playground equipment.
